1. Booking process
When you decide to place a booking with us, we will send you two copies of the rental agreement. One copy must be signed and returned to us by mail, e-mail or fax. After signing the agreement, a down-payment of 50% must be made. A 5% early payment discount applies, if you pay the total amount until 31.01.2017.
Upon receipt of the down-payment, the booking is confirmed. The final payment is due four weeks before the beginning of your journey and must be made without further notice. After that, you will receive your final travel documents, such as vouchers, timetables for ferries, directions, etc. Upon arrival, you must hand-in any vouchers at the reception desk.
2. Commercial and cancellation terms
a) Cancellations: If a tenant cancels the rental agreement for reasons covered by Happy Ferien's travel cancellation insurance and the travel cancellation insurance has been taken out, a handling fee of € 37.00 will be retained. The already paid remaining amount will be refunded.
The following reasons for cancellation are covered:
• Illness or death of one of the fellow travellers or close relatives
• Pregnancy complications
• Loss of your job resulting form the termination by the employer
• Significant physical damage to your property at your place of residence due to force majeure(e.g. flood, storm, etc.)
In all instances we require written confirmation (from the doctor, employer, etc.)
b) Without having taken out our travel cancellation insurance, the following cancellation fees apply:
• cancellation up to 60 days before the beginning of your journey: 20% of the total rent
• cancellation up to 30 days before the beginning of your journey: 50% of the total rent
• cancellation from the 29th day before the beginning of your journey: 90% of the total rent
Cancellations must be reported immediately to the agency in writing. Subsequent liability claims cannot be invoked.
In case of an early departure of the customer, the respective campsite reserves the right to sublet the reserved pitch. The customer is not entitled to a refund for the days not used.
Per rebooking a fee of EUR 15.00 applies. Rebookings can only be made during the respective financial year. In case of a reduction of the travel period, the above cancellation terms come into effect.
A rebooking applies as soon as a contract is amended by the tenant regarding the campsite, rental period, pitch category, seasonal periods, number of persons or extra services. Financial disadvantages which may result for the agency because of the rebooking are subject to the cancellation conditions set out in point 2.
Possible arrival and departure days depend on the respective campsite's regulations. Upon request, we will gladly inform you about them.
In general, the terms and conditions of the respective campsite apply.
Barbecues at the campsite: the terms and conditions of the respective campsite apply. Tourist tax, ecotax and registration fees must be paid directly on-site at the reception desk of the respective campsite. The employees at the reception desk will gladly answer your questions.
Upon booking, we kindly ask you to inform us about the number of pets as well as breed and size of the animals, as these specifications are necessary for us to create the rental agreement.
We kindly ask all dog owners to respect the campsite rules to avoid unnecessary disputes with the campsite. Please be aware of the indicated rules of the respective campsite.
6. Campsites rules
Tenants are contractually bound to the current campsite rules. Violating these rules can lead to a dismissal from the site. In this case no claims can be lodged against the agency. The agency is not responsible for any issues, which affect the campsite and cannot be influenced by the agency. Furthermore, no legal claims can be made against the agency regarding location, size, condition, etc. of the pitch.
Happy Ferien GmbH is not liable for any changes which might occur during the holiday season.
