How do i make a booking?

When you decide to place a booking with us, we will send you two copies of the rental agreement. One copy must be signed and returned to us by mail, e-mail or fax. After signing the agreement, you have to make a down-payment of 50% for campsites or yachts and 20% for hotel reservations. Upon receipt of the down-payment, the booking is confirmed. The final payment is due four weeks before the beginning of your journey and must be made without further notice. After that, you will receive your final travel documents, such as vouchers, timetables for ferries, directions, etc. Upon arrival, you must hand-in any vouchers at the reception desk. We wish you a pleasant stay.
 

Can I see the availability of camping pitches online or how can I get this information?

You cannot check availability on our homepage. We kindly ask you to send us an e-mail (booking request) and we will answer your e-mail as soon as possible and inform you about available pitches during your requested travel period. Of course, we are also happy to answer your questions about available pitches on the phone. Please be prepared to take notes!
 

What should I do, if I have already signed the rental agreement and the number of persons has to be changed?

Should there be a change at a very short notice (e.g. more persons / pet / motor boat), it is not a problem. You just hand in the voucher at the reception desk upon arrival. The number of persons paid for is noted on the voucher. Please inform the campsite about any extra persons and then they can be paid for, directly on-site.

If you did not yet sign a rental agreement, nor paid the down-payment, you can request the changes in writing. You will then receive a new rental agreement, which you must sing and return to us.
 

Which advantages do I have, if I place a booking with Happy Ferien?

You have the possibility of booking the most beautiful camping pitches in advance. Should you wish to travel during high season, obtaining a pitch in the first row is not always guaranteed. If you place a booking with Happy Ferien in advance, you will have a hassle-free journey, because you know that your pitch is already reserved for you.

You already know beforehand what awaits you, because you've seen the map of the site as well as pictures of your reserved pitch on our homepage. You know, where you can put your hammock, where the closest power outlet is as well as how far it is to the closest sanitary building, etc.
 

How do I pay my holiday with Happy Ferien?

The payment can be made by a standard bank transfer. In case of an international bank transfer, please use the IBAN and BIC codes, because that way you don't have to pay the high transaction fees. You'll find our bank details on the documents you receive from us (rental agreement and accompanying letter).

Can I take out a travel cancellation insurance with Happy Ferien?

YES!

At the price of € 40.00 per rental agreement, Happy Ferien offers a travel cancellation insurance.

In case of an illness, which has to be confirmed by a medical certificate, the guest gets his money back. Only a cancellation fee of € 37.00 will be deducted from the total amount. To return the money to your account, we need your IBAN and BIC codes as well as the name of your bank.
 

Which other costs will there be?

Motorway toll stickers (if you drive through Austria and Slovenia), toll for some motorways or roads, fee for the ferry passage, tourist tax, registration fee, fee for the tunnel and the bridge (if you travel via the island of Krk)

Late arrival – what should I do?

Please inform us, at the campsite or the hotel about the late arrival.
 

If I have questions about my rental agreement, which information does the booking team need?

It is best to have your customer number or HZ-number (number of the rental agreement) ready, that way we can quickly find your booking in our system. You will find these numbers on your rental agreement, on the left hand side, directly underneath your address.
